Amazon Fire Stick Not Working On Samsung TV
Firestick not getting recognized on TV is quite frustrating. There could be various reasons behind this issue. Some of the reasons are easy to identify and post identification; the detection problem can be resolved quickly and permanently. However, there are some prerequisites or requirements that need to be considered before taking any step.
Requirement 1: It is advisable to make sure that the TV has the required resolution (HD) as well as working HDMI port(s). TV should have the latest HDMI standard, firmware update and must be HDCP complaint.

1) Make sure the stick is firmly connected to the TV. Try to connect it to another TV to see if the problem is only with a particular one.
2) Check the power indicator on the stick:
Initially, check that the power indicator on the stick is still and getting on properly. There might be some issue in case the power indicator fluctuates or stops getting lit after some time while streaming. Keep in mind, Firestick can only work in case it’s getting powered on. Plug the device into working electric socket and see whether the stick is getting powered on properly and getting recognized. Also, check that the USB cable is getting properly connected to the stick and adaptor.
3) Try to reconnect Firestick: Reconnecting the firestick with TV could be helpful in fixing the issue.
Turn off the TV and stick.
Take out the stick from the HDMI port. Turn off switch outlet (the socket).
Remove the power cord from stick and after some seconds reconnect the power cord.
Turn on the TV.
Turn on switch outlet. Connect the firestick to the HDMI port of the TV. Wait for few minutes.
Select the right HDMI input though TV remote.
After connecting, take the firestick remote and try operating.
Click on the home button on the firestick remote.
4) Make sure to choose the right resolution: Improper resolution could be the reason for affecting the streaming. Ensure that the correct resolution is selected and in use.
5) Check the HDMI port is working properly: Damaged HDMI port could be the reason for the detection issue. Make sure that the HDMI ports on TV are not damaged and the firestick or HDMI cable is getting properly connected to the HDMI port(s). In case one HDMI port is damaged, try to connect firestick to the second HDMI port and check if the issue is resolved.
The above mentioned steps can be helpful in sorting out the issue of Samsung tv not recognizing Amazon Fire Stick. Remember to check the HDMI port(s) and resolution in case such issue occurs.
