Problem of Samsung TV Not identifying Amazon Fire Stick

Method#1

Connect the Fire TV Stick again. If Samsung TV is not identifying the Amazon Fire TV stick which results in making Amazon Fire TV incapable of working, the user needs to reconnect it to the TV which can be done by following this process.

  • Switch Off Samsung TV and detach the HDMI port from Fire Stick.
  • Turn down the power source and unplug the power cord from the stick.
  • After 10 minutes, reconnect the power cord to the Fire TV stick.

Take a look at the HDMI cable. There are instances when the HDMI cable go to rack and ruin due to its usage. Thus the user needs to make sure that the HDMI cable remains in good shape every time if the HDMI cable is in bad shape then the user should replace the HDMI cable by an authenticated cable.

Other ways of resolving the issue

Upgrading the Firmware of both the devices. Updating the Fire TV stick must have the latest firmware in it and to get the current version in it the user is recommended to follow this process.

  • Select the option of settings from the menu bar.
  • Scroll to the right direction and choose the option of Device.
  • Choose About section and then select the option of Software Version.
  • Now select the option of Check for System Update.

For updating the firmware of Samsung TV the user needs to follow this process.

  • Switch on the Samsung TV and go to the Menu section of the TV.
  • Select the option of Support and further select the option of Software Update.

Once the Samsung TV will be restarted automatically with a configuration message on the screen.

Anynet Feature. Samsung TV has a program in it known as “Anynet” which is a built-in feature, this allows the user to control the TV by a remote through a connected network, this service may provide a hindrance in working of the Amazon Fire TV stick. This problem can be solved by using this process.

  • Turn on the Samsung TV and connect the HDMI cable with Fire stick.
  • Press the refresh button in the Samsung TV.
  • The user will be a pop-up message like “anynet device”
  • Select the option of OK to complete the process.

The user should also ensure that the TV is getting enough power from the power source.
